If you're just looking for a simple budget hotel in a fantastic location, look no further. The rooms are average but the value is great and the location is unbeatable. I've stayed here twice in the last year and can definitely recommend it.

I stayed here 7 nights and overall, the stay was fine. It's not luxurious, they've spent more money on making the lobby and corridors look nice rather than the rooms. The bed was comfortable enough, a little on the hard side but only received one pillow per person. The walls are paper-thin so I could constantly hear my neighbor snoring each night. The "fitness room" contains one old treadmill, one exercise bike and 5-20kg weights. The rooftop is lovely if you want a chill outdoor space to enjoy. It's filled with spacious seating, beautiful statues and lots of potted plants. The location is really the highlight of this hotel. You're within walking distance to all the amazing restaurants, clubs and bars that Sanlitun is known for. Overall, if you get this hotel on discount, then it may be worth the money but don't come here looking for luxury or comfort because this isn't the hotel for you.

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS! The construction is such that it was dripping on my pillow at night from the ceiling! When I asked to change the room at 5 am I was told there were no available rooms. It seems there was no problem for the Chinese receptionist who barely knew two or three English words. I had to ask again and again until somebody came to my room to see water running from the ceiling and finally was told to wait for 30 minutes until they could change the room.

Booked 7 nights for my husband for his business trip. Pretty average stay overall. The bed not too comfortable and he had a hard time sleeping well. Breakfast wasn't good. Some food is very bland. The hotel is fairly well located between 2 subway stations. 15-20 minute walk between 2 malls and near to the bus station if you plan to visit the Great Wall. Location is quite good as you're within walking distance to Sanlitun (about 20mins walk).

I stayed here for 3 nights in December, pretty average stay overall. I must begin by saying that the staff were welcoming and friendly at check-in/out and the lady who called a taxi for me was excellent- she was working alone at a busy time, she checked-in a large group in record time (I work in hotels), called a taxi for me and left the desk to escort me to the car and helped me with my bags! She deserves 5 stars, wish I could remember her name. The room, however, was very outdated, pretty small, I could hear the traffic from the street all night, and the bed was quite uncomfortable, plus only had 2 pillows, which for a king bed I found to be strange. The bathroom however was nice, very spacious and great shower. Don’t bother paying for breakfast, it is low quality and didn’t taste fresh. I like both Chinese and Western style breakfast but it wasn’t good on either front. There are a few places to eat in the area which are better. The hotel is fairly well located 15-20 minute walk between 2 malls and near to the bus station if you plan to visit the Great Wall. It’s also in between 2 subway stations but feels quite far to both in comparison to other hotels I’ve stayed at in Beijing. Good value for 1 night stay, but for longer I’d choose somewhere else.
